I am confident in my decision to not receive the vaccine. Every individual should make the decision for themselves unless the vaccine is proved to provide sterile immunity. If it provides sterile immunity there is a moral argument to take the vaccine to allow the community to get to herd immunity. I wonder why just days before the September 9th speech where President Biden discussed mandating the vaccine, the CDC changed the definition of vaccine, eliminating the word immunity. Now that we know that those that are vaccinated can still get the virus and still transmit the virus, we know that herd immunity will not be aided by the vaccine.
Packing the Supreme Court May Restore Freedom
According to Aaron Belkin, director of the progressive group Take Back the Court, “The Supreme Court is a danger to the health and well-being of the nation and even to democracy itself. . . Adding seats is the only way to restore balance to the court, and Congress should get started right away.” Justice Stephen G. Breyer, in a recent speech at Harvard Law School, warned proponents of packing the Supreme Court to “think long and hard” about the risks of the court being viewed as more political, undermining the trust in the institution.
UPDATE- Coronavirus Assistance – Paycheck Protection Program (PPP)
The SBA issued guidance on laid-off employees who refuse to be rehired or come back to work but, we are still waiting to receive guidance on details surrounding PPP Loan forgiveness.
First, by June 30, 2020, you must have the same number of employees, working the same hours with the same wages, as you had as of January 31, 2020 listed on your PPP Loan Application.
