Senator Bernie Sanders and Representative Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (AOC) organized the Fighting Oligarchy Tour which began in February 2025. Their goal appears to oppose oligarchy and corporate influence in U.S. politics. The tour promotes policies like Medicare for ALL, a wealth tax, redistribution, and increased taxes on businesses & corporations. And of course, Bernie and AOC are for open borders and are apathetic towards crime and unsafe cities throughout the United States.
Both Senator Sanders and AOC are strong supporters of the Climate Change Hoax, yet they have been flying around on private jets. AOC was filmed boarding a $15,000-per-hour private jet alongside Bernie Sanders in April 2025.
Why would Bernie and AOC want to get rid of oligarchy? Oligarchy is a form of government in which power is held by a small group of people—typically those who are wealthy, influential, or otherwise privileged. These elites control decision-making, often without much input from the general population. Several good examples of Oligarchy happening in the United States are the 8-years under the Obama-Biden Administration and again 4 more years under the Biden-Harris Administration.
AOC and Bernie have said that Elon Musk, Tesla and SpaceX CEO and the richest man in the world, along with a few other billionaires, are the oligarchy controlling what President Trump does. Except for Ronald Reagan, over the past 45-years, President Trump, unlike his predecessors, listens to everyone, wields his own power, and makes his own decisions based upon common sense, to make America prosperous for all Americans, while Making America Great Again without a powerful oligarchy behind the scenes.
President Trump is getting rid of the oligarchy that has been around for some time now. Bernie and AOC want to replace President Trump and return their own oligarchy—George Soros, Bill Gates, to name but a few—back into power, with them on top as the political figure heads, collecting their share of the legalized plunder, making them multi-millionaires. In Bernie’s case, he already is a multi-millionaire, with three properties, including a home in Vermont, a townhouse in Washington, D.C., and a vacation home. Based upon my observation of the political elites, once they become cognizant of how easy they can pilfer from their fellow citizens, they never quite get enough of other people’s treasure!
Unlike most Democrats, Senator Sanders is a little more honest. He describes himself as a democratic socialist, a much more appealing term than a communist or Marxist. Socialism and the socialist policies promoted and put into law by Bernie, AOC, and the rest of the Democrats represent “legal plunder” as explained by Frederic Bastiat (1801-1850). “Socialists desire to make the law their own weapon.” According to Bastiat, “socialism and communism are basically the same plant in different stages of its growth. All that can be said is that legal plunder is more visible in communism because it is complete plunder.”
Bastiat poses the following question and then answers it: “Can the Law—which necessarily requires the use of force—rationally be used for anything except protecting the rights of everyone? I defy anyone to extend it beyond this purpose without perverting it and, consequently turning might against right.” Our Founders believed in this… see Jefferson’s definition of rightful liberty.
The seductive lure of Socialism is “the most popular fallacy of our times. It is not considered sufficient that the law should be just,” as explained by Bastiat, “it must be philanthropic. Nor is it sufficient that the law should guarantee to every citizen the free and inoffensive use of his faculties for physical, intellectual, and moral self-improvement. Instead, it is demanded that the law should directly extend welfare, education, and morality throughout the nation.”
Bastiat concludes, “This is the seductive lure of socialism. . . These two uses of the law are in direct contradiction to each other. We must choose between them. A citizen cannot at the same time be free and not free.”
Today, the law has been perverted, primarily by the Democrats. President Trump is trying to restore our American Constitutional Republic given to us by the Founding generation, which believed in unalienable rights, limited government, and individual freedom. The Founders/Framers abhorred democracy and socialism, the root of all evil.
If you support Bernie Sanders, AOC, and the Democrats, you are rejecting “the principles and values of the American experiment” in individual freedom, choosing instead, “not [to be] free.”
